We are excited to introduce our end-to-end neural network, trained with reinforcement learning (RL), for humanoid locomotion.

OpenAI and SoftBank each commit $19 billion to build AI facilities across America.

The Stargate Project will invest $500 billion over four years to develop advanced computing systems. Work begins in Texas, creating jobs and aiming to keep the US competitive in AI technology.

"This initiative is a critical step on the path to realizing the full potential of AI," an OpenAI spokesperson announced.

SoftBank's Robotics Masayoshi Son will chair the project, with his company managing finances and OpenAI handling operations.

Microsoft, NVIDIA, Oracle, and Arm join as technical partners. The group plans immediate spending of $100 billion for construction.

"We want to help creative minds use AI in new ways," the OpenAI spokesperson added.

The project focuses on national security and technological leadership. New facilities will support development of more powerful AI systems.
