What type of sensors does the ANYmal robot use for navigation and obstacle avoidance?

ANYmal uses 360° LiDAR, depth cameras, and stereo vision to navigate complex environments. These sensors enable it to autonomously detect obstacles and plan safe paths, even in dark or GPS-denied areas.

 

How long can the ANYmal operate on a single battery charge?

The robot can operate for 90 to 120 minutes on a full charge, depending on terrain and payload. It also supports autonomous docking for recharging, making it ideal for long-term inspections.
