Robot Tells Jokes at Chinese New Year Show

A humanoid robot named "Fuxi" performs comedy at China's Spring Festival Gala.

"Hello everyone, let me introduce myself again. I am Unitree H1, 'Fuxi'," the robot tells the audience.

The machine mixes jokes with moving gestures to entertain the crowd.

"I am now a comedian at the Spring Festival Gala, hoping to bring joy to everyone," Fuxi says during its act.

Unitree Robotics created the robot to interact with people beyond just doing tasks.

"Let's push boundaries every day and shape the future together," Fuxi tells viewers.

The performance shows how robots might entertain people in the future.

The robot's appearance at the traditional festival brings new technology to an ancient celebration.

Audiences laugh and clap as the robot performs its comedy routine.

This marks one of the first times a robot acts as an entertainer at the major holiday show.
